What does it mean to be a level 2 animal caretaker?
As an animal caretaker, you work in animal health care, but you are included not in the licensed animal health personnel. You perform treatments prescribed by a veterinarian and always work under the veterinarian's responsibility.
There are general rules that govern which tasks you are allowed to perform – the so-called the treatment ban.
Animal caretakers are divided into three levels, where the tasks are determined by which level you have.
